data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Denise Eldemire-Shearer es directora ejecutiva del Mona Ageing &amp; Wellness Centre (MAWC) y profesora em\u00e9rita en la Universidad de las Indias Occidentales (UWI). Es m\u00e9dica con una maestr\u00eda y un PhD en Salud P\u00fablica por la UWI. Desde mediados de los a\u00f1os 80, ha desarrollado investigaci\u00f3n en salud p\u00fablica centrada en el an\u00e1lisis de pol\u00edticas y su implementaci\u00f3n, con \u00e9nfasis en la Atenci\u00f3n Primaria de Salud. Ha colaborado estrechamente con el Ministerio de Salud y Bienestar de Jamaica, asesorando en \u00e1reas de an\u00e1lisis de pol\u00edticas y la renovaci\u00f3n de la atenci\u00f3n primaria.
